About the Project

Cald began as a greenfield project and progressed through key development milestones, including filing the interconnection position, executing the LGIA, securing Full Capacity Deliverability Status (FCDS), obtaining site control, and advancing permitting with LA County. The project maintained a Development Services Agreement through construction and achieved Commercial Operation Date in 2024.

IOWN Energy and Eolus

IOWN serves as the exclusive North American development partner for Eolus, a publicly traded renewable energy company headquartered in Sweden.

IOWN's Role

Led key development activities including securing the transmission queue positions, advancing and executing the interconnection agreement, and securing land and site control required to progress the project toward construction readiness. The project was successfully sold prior to Notice to Proceed (NTP).
