About the Project
Pome is IOWN’s first standalone battery energy storage project, managed through the construction phase including securing site control, permitting, equipment and EPC procurement, offtake, project finance and exiting to a long-term equity investor. Located in Poway, California, the project’s development began in 2019 with construction started in 2023. The commercial operation start of Pome was achieved in 2025.

IOWN serves as the exclusive North American development partner for Eolus, a publicly traded renewable energy company headquartered in Sweden.
IOWN's Role
Led the project through the full development lifecycle, including land acquisition and site control, permitting, engineering coordination, interconnection, supply agreements, and all activities required to advance the project through construction. Continued involvement through operations included construction management, oversight, and ongoing project coordination.
