On May 4, 2023, IOWN had the honor of being awarded the SACC USA Business Award 2023 during the SACC USA Executive Forum at the House of Sweden in Washington D.C. This is the first year the award is being presented and was established by the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in the United States (SACC USA) to recognize, support, and celebrate fast-growing Swedish companies operating in the U.S.

The jury consisted of representatives from SACC USA and other business leaders from Sweden and the U.S. Their decision was shaped by IOWN’s demonstration of ability to create and maintain remarkable growth figures in an unstable period of history around the globe; marked by the pandemic and economic uncertainty. Additionally, they were able to see the innovative approach that connects stakeholders and builds alliances that contribute to accelerating the development of a globally sustainable society.

The award was presented by Peter Fellman, editor-in-chief of Dagens Industri and Business Manager of Bonnier News Business, who also is a part of the jury for the SACC USA Business Award. Dagens Industri's Gasellpris, for Sweden's fastest-growing companies, has inspired this award.

IOWN’s CEO, Hans-Christian Schulze who was present in Washington D.C. to receive the award, said,
